Change up your workout routine - get on your bike and SPIN! Sign up on this TOC event, then REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE AT CYKL You can ONLY register for this event at CYKL's Website exactly 2 weeks before the event. This 75 minutes event is at CYKL spinning studio, which has excellent facilities including storage lockers, washrooms, change rooms, showers, soaps/shampoo, towels and filtered water. What is this event about? Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called (obviously enough) a spinning bike. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout: "You're going up a long hill now, you can't see the top yet.…" During the class you vary your pace - sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body. Our event description: This will be a guided 75 minutes lesson in a convenient and spacious studio with music, voice coaching and using the latest style in spinning bikes - the REAL RIDER that allows movement and turning from side to side. You will be guided through a series of drills to challenge your legs, lungs and core including: warm-up, steady uptempo, cadences, sprints, hill climbs and cool-downs/stretch.Skill level needed: Our after event social: We can have a social pub stop minutes away after the class. Bringing a change of clothes is therefore recommended.Paid/metered parking is available on nearby streets. | |||||||
