Itinerary:

Hockey season is starting soon as training camps get underway. Let's take advantage of the still warm weather while it lasts to get in an after work game of road hockey!

All skill levels are welcome! We'll be playing on the fenced court which is just south of the Aura Lee Playing Field which is behind the Metro grocery store near Bloor and Spadina. The court is a former tennis court which has metal hockey nets installed, and its about a 3 block walk from Spadina subway station.

This is just a recreational game so only stick-on-stick contact will be permitted. No equipment is required other than a stick. Unfortunately, I do not have extra sticks, so you will need to bring your own.

NOTE: On Sunday night, I will check the weather for risk of rain. If there is a 50% chance of rain or greater, this event will be cancelled. Please check your email prior to coming to the event.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Take the TTC to Spadina Subway Station on either the Bloor-Danforth Subway Line or the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway Line. There are multiple exits from this subway station. If you are exiting from the Bloor-Danforth line, head to the Walmer Street exit and then walk south along Walmer (which turns into Robert St.), past Bloor, past the Metro grocery store, to Sussex Ave. If you are exiting from the Yonge-University-Spadina line, you will get out on Spadina, just north of Bloor. Head down to Bloor, then west on Bloor to Walmer/Robert, then south to Sussex.

There are two fenced courts at the corner of Robert and Sussex - one for tennis and the other for hockey.
