Itinerary:

Always fumbling for change for donations at TOC events? Can't remember if you've contributed your 20 bucks by mid-year and you're now overpaid, but feel too guilty to stop giving us money? Well, here's your chance to pay up once and never have to dig for toonies again!

The Toronto Outdoor Club exists because of your $2 donations. Every toonie we get from you goes directly back into the club, from maintaining the website, to hosting those photographs, to paying for extras at the annual picnic and general meetings. And we'd like your $2 to go farther - promotional items and prizes to give away, first aid kits and discounts on wilderness related courses, providing bigger and better activities for our members. However, you need only donate a MAXIMUM of $20 per year... we don't keep track of who donates what, so it's up to you to know when you've hit your maximum. For many members, they find it easier to hand over a fresh $20 bill at the beginning of each year, along with their waiver and then feel virtuous about supporting our great organization.

Here's YOUR chance... Come on out for the first social event of 2009, play some pool, hand over your 20 smackeroos and your waiver, and you're done for the year - consider it a free ride until December! You'll also be giving the club a boost to its coffers, so we'll have some extra money early on, and we can plan what fun stuff to do with it in the coming year. Use this opportunity to bring along a new member and introduce them to the pleasures of belonging to the TOC and all that that entails. It's a win-win situation all around!

Note: A small token of the TOC's appreciation will be provided to all socialites, but you have to attend to find out what it is!

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
$20 bill (we will take $10's and $5's and *gulp*, if need be, even a handful of toonies...)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

TTC: Get off the University line at Glencairn, exit by the south entrance. Turn right and head west to Marlee. Turn left and head south, walking about 2 blocks until you see the Chalkers sign on your left

Car: From 401 - take Allen Parkway south, get off at Lawrence. Turn right at top of ramp, then get in left lane IMMEDIATELY, and turn left at lights, onto Marlee. Drive down Marlee until you see Chalkers sign. We suggest you only bring a car if you absolutely have to as there is limited parking at Chalkers...
