Itinerary:

On Tonight’s hike we will attempt to see some of the beavers that call High Park their home. We will make 3-4 stops in the park where I have seen the beavers in the past. The hike starts at the South West corner of High Park Ave and Bloor St (exit High Park station and walk across Bloor Street) and ends at Keele station. There is a washroom at the start of the hike – please arrive before 7pm to use. There is another washroom 1 hour into the hike.

The hike will be about 9km in total on flat paved trails and sidewalks with one set of stairs to climb. We will go through the park, walk on some side streets, up the rail path and end at Keele station. Please note: When we are looking for the beavers – the hike will be slower and have stops. After we have exited the park, we will walk at a moderate pace for the remainder of the hike.
