Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for this evening.

This 12 KM hike will go between Pioneer Village Station to Finch Station.
If you don't want to walk the entire distance, there is an option to bail out at Finch West Station, 4.5 KM into the hike.

The hike will be only on paved park paths.

In terms of hills, there should be 3 of at least 25 meters.

Sadly, there won't be any washrooms available on this hike.
However, both Pioneer Village Station and Finch Station have public washrooms at the beginning and end of the hike.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice.
You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

    Event Directions:

Take Line 1, Yonge-University all the way north to Pioneer Village Station.
This station is located 4 stations north of Sheppard West and 2 Stations south of Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

We'll meet outside Steeles Exit to the Station, which is beside the regional bus terminal (NOT THE TTC ONE).
For those of you who don't know the station, exit the station via the north staircase
(if you don't know which is the north staircase, just follow the direction of the northbound train).
If its cold or wet, then I'll stand in the station doors.

For those of you driving, address of the entrance is 2800 Steeles Avenue West, which is located on the north side of Steeles between Jane & Keele. There is a TTC parking lot just behind the bus terminal.

Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt.
