By signing up for this event, you agree to, and acknowledge, the following:

ICERS: we may need icers for this hike. Be prepared. You must keep icers in your pack during the winter months.


Now that the Don Valley golf course is closed for the season we will walk through it on our way to Earl Bales Park
There will most likely be some icy and muddy sections
And there may be some logs and obstacles to go over in a rough section of gully

  • PROPER ICERS with sharp metal points to dig into the ice
    - keep icers in your pack during the winter months.

  • Good sturdy footwear (not running shoes)
  • water 1 or 2 L

Event Directions:

We are meeting on the North East corner of Yonge & York Mills - near the entrance to the mall / subway on Yonge. Look for a large group of people with backpacks!

If coming by Transit:
Travel to York Mills subway station on the Yonge Subway line.
3 Stops south of Finch, 7 stops north of Bloor.
