Itinerary: | |||||||
We will tow my 12ft Peterborough and cross from Honey Harbour to Beausoleil Island, which is Georgian Bay Islands National Park. We will stay 2 nights at one of the primitive campgrounds, hopefully Chimney Bay. There are lookouts and hiking trails. The crossing is approx. 3km and will probably take less than an hour. With four people, we will cross in two trips. Because the campgrounds are first come, first served, it may be necessary to search some, and we won't know quite where we will be until arriving. For the most part, as I really want to visit this park and have everything necessary myself, I will provide all the equipment, tents, and can drive everyone in one car. | |||||||
